What does it measure? Chrome real-user experience (CrUX) form factor mobile device use (%) vs mobile homepage ('this URL') speed.
When does this measure? Chrome Real-User Experience measures today (going back 28 days), then also historically goes back 25 weeks. Which is how it gathers the Form Factor mobile % average over 25 weeks.
Where are all the Insufficient Data results? What you are seeing there is AI being built into the front-end and programmatically fetching the URLs to mitigate the amount of insufficient data results returned. Using a frontier model (ChatGPT, Claude AI and/or Gemini) with a prompt doesn't necessarily guarantee that.
Why would I need this? Google Chrome's publicly available data aggregated using free APIs helps level the playing field. We're able to see the Mobile Homepage Status, Mobile Device % and Speed Stats all in one view.
How can one get ahold of this? Although, this is not available at the moment. A prior version of this (not powered by AI) is available. Homepage Hero allows users to compare up to 10 URLs of their choice. There is an Ai prompt to simulate the above included below.
