• Local Processing: All data extraction processes, including the scanning of the active tab for data tags, links, and text containing VINs, occur entirely within your local browser environment.

• No External Servers: The Extension does not connect to external servers, APIs, or databases to transmit the information it extracts. The final extracted data is copied directly to your local device's clipboard.

3. Permissions To function exactly as intended, the Extension requires the following minimum browser permissions:

• activeTab: Grants temporary access only to the specific tab you are currently viewing when you explicitly trigger the Extension. This allows the tool to read the page's HTML structure to locate VINs.

• contextMenus: Allows the creation of an "Extract VINs from Page" option in your right-click menu for seamless activation.

• scripting: Permits the local execution of the extraction script on the active tab upon your command. These permissions are strictly utilized to perform the single purpose of the tool: extracting VINs from the active Search Results Page (SRP) or Vehicle Detail Page (VDP).

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure Because we do not collect or store any user data or extracted VINs, we have no data to share, sell, rent, or disclose to third parties under any circumstances.
